Choose the carpool option that suits your business

There are different options to successfully launch a carpooling scheme for your business. Ranging from a quick option to a fully supported launch which includes all the extras, you can create a carpooling scheme that best suits your workplace. Here are some options:

Option oneOption One: Five minute carpool starter pack

  • Sign up your workplace. This makes staff registration simpler and enables people to choose to carpool with people from the same company.
  • Send out one of our ready-to-go emails, brochures or posters and you’re away

Option twoOption Two: Get moving in 60 minutes

Build up your carpooling scheme:

  • Customise your workplace carpool webpage with your logo and a tailored message.
  • Promote the programme at staff meetings and / or set up a ‘Register Here’ booth in the staff cafeteria at lunchtime.
  • Appoint a contact person to register staff without access to computers

One hour set up, 5 minutes to register a staff member without computer access

Option threeOption Three: Get in the fast lane

Help your carpool take off:

  • Offer an emergency ride or priority carpool parks.
  • Hold a morning tea or meeting for interested carpoolers to meet each other.
  • Talk to neighbouring businesses about also signing up and consider holding a joint “meet and greet” event.

Cost

Free for the first six months then a possible $50-100/year* for emergency rides. Optional morning tea and carpark signage.

Time

2-3 hours set up, 10 minutes per week ongoing. (Set up time: 1 hour each to set up an emergency ride home programme, carpool parks and hold a “meet and greet” event)

Option fourOption Four - Top of the line travel

Full support plus providing a range of incentives to carpool to your staff:

  • Offer an emergency ride to staff who carpool
  • Priority carpool parks for carpoolers
  • Appoint a contact person to register staff without computers, run match reports and administer priority parks.
  • Ongoing marketing of programme to staff; prize draws, promotional events, meet and greets.
