Lets Carpool is coming to Greater Christchurch

Since the February 22nd earthquake, Christchurch has experienced severe congestion. The Greater Christchurch Urban Development Strategy partners are working with Greater Wellington, with the help of the Energy and Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) to include Greater Christchurch in this proven initiative to help make it easier for people to get around.

The Greater Christchurch Urban Development Strategy is a bold and ambitious plan for managing urban development that protects water, enhances open spaces, improves transport links, creates more livable centres and manages population growth in a sustainable way.  The Strategy vision is for a greater Christchurch for the residents of the area.
